WI about to lose its mind over guns

The alarm about this bill is being raised by State Rep. Chris Taylor, (D-Madison):
Chris Taylor.jpg
The Senate Committee on Judiciary and Public Safety is holding a public hearing TOMORROW on SB 169 which allows people to carry concealed guns in public without a permit or any training, ends Wisconsin’s ban on tasers, and removes age restrictions for carrying a concealed weapon. Additionally, it expands the ability of people to carry guns in schools by eliminating Wisconsin’s gun free school zones law
PLEASE stop by Room 411 South tomorrow (Wednesday, May 31) and register your opposition – it only takes five minutes!

That is the most insane thing I've ever heard of - why the hell are we heading backwards with everything in the country under this new regime (I can't call it a government because it is not that anymore. The NRA has it's mitts and it's money in this for sure. DISGUSTING.

Of course the Bear Hunters Association and The NRA are pushing for this. https://lobbying.wi.gov/What/BillInformation/2017REG/Information/14178

We dont need guns in the hands of short tempered, untrained lunatics. Guns do not belong in schools or other public places. What is wrong with legislators?? We shouldnt have to live our lives in fear that we will become the victims of someone with a gun who decides to take out his/ her anger while we are shopping, dining out, watching a movie or attending school. The world is crazy enough without adding to it by putting lethal weapons in the hands of the mentally ill and children.

I did my part by emailing my state senator as soon as I read this in the paper. ALEC and the NRA is hard at work again. When will the GOP put the safety of the public ahead of ideology? What's going on, America? No permit? Can you drive a car without training or a license? This bill is ridiculous.

This is paramount to removing drivers education requirements. Rediculous overreach by gun lobby.

"What is wrong with legislators??"
They keep getting elected.
Consider the source. We wouldn't have this legislation if we didn't keep putting these people in power.
We didn't all ask for this, but this is what we're all getting.

I went to the Capitol this morning and registered my opposition to this bill. The overflow room was overflowing. Everyone filling out forms with me were opposing the bill.

It's not backwards, it's forward. It has been spiraling backwards for years and it's time to get back to reality and doing things RIGHT. The American people want this except for the closed minded that have been brainwashed to think that guns are bad.

Do I understand this correctly? We are going to allow children to carry loaded weapons into their school? We are going to allow people to carry weapons who have had NO training on how to use them properly, and don't have a license to carry. What next let anyone who wants to drive without a license? Sounds like we need to elect some officials who are actually able to problem solve and make decisions that will protect and serve us. Not endanger us and throw us into chaos.
